ABOUT US
Ondalinda Studios is spearheaded by Founder and Creative Director, Lulu Luchaire, and Scenography and Set Designer, Gatsby Moellhausen. The Studios designs and create small and large-scale Art Installations that transform physical spaces, whether that be for cities, events, theatre houses, film studios, fashion shows, photoshoot sets, or private homes. Specifically, we practice multidisciplinary art that bridges together diverse fields of design, such as sculpting, architecture, light design, and more. Even further, we explore the areas of art, science, philosophy, and technology to create versatile art installations that reflect unique perspectives of the world.
OUR APPROACH
Our specialtyis in the creative conceptual development of art pieces and giving physical form to the most abstract and imaginative of visions.Driven by the desire to design art that has meaning and that stimulates thoughts and feelings within its spectators,we begin each project by engaging in thorough research focused on connecting dots to develop more in-depth narratives. Such narratives then act as the driving force, or script, behind our creative processes and are ultimately communicated through the art installations and physical spaces we create.
WHAT WE DO
We work on all stages of the development of the art pieces: from the idea stage, such as the conceptual development, to the design process of the art (including its lighting and musical dimensions), as well as digital sketches and material suggestions, to the final execution and installation – all with the help of skilled craftsmen, artists, sound engineers and light programmers under our creative direction.
